One personality trait predicts how long you live and it isn't the one you think. After raw intelligence, one personality trait predicts your career, your earnings, your health and how long you live. Better than anything else about you. It's called conscientiousness. It's a boring name but it has an enormous impact on your life.
Your level of conscientiousness basically answers the question everyone asks about you. Can I rely on this person to follow through? And the evidence is brutal in its consistency. A study of more than 11,000 adults linked the hard-working side of this trait to a 25% lower risk of dying during the follow-up period.
No heroics, just showing up and finishing. The full breakdown on how to build it is on this channel.
