📄 Full research article: https://www.keca.co.uk/articles/everyday-sadism-at-work A 2026 review reveals the measurable reality of workplace bullying and the dark triad traits that drive it. This analysis evaluates sixteen studies to establish clear figures for psychopathy, narcissism, and Machiavellianism in professional settings. While these personality traits are frequently discussed in organisational psychology, the evidence for their impact on conduct remains unevenly distributed across the literature. The review highlights a significant gap regarding the role of sadism, which could not be quantified due to a lack of dedicated workplace research. Understanding where the data ends is just as important as identifying the patterns of workplace bullying that we can currently verify.
